The Anglican Service

Ever wonder what the meaning was behind different parts of the Anglican service?  Whether we are newcomers to the Anglican Church or have been attending services for years, we should remember that the Sunday service, or liturgy, is rich with meaning - every part says something about our faith, our beliefs, our worship and our relationship with Jesus Christ, and through Him, our God.

"Anglican liturgy is about transformation: . . . I join the community that does liturgy and find, little by little . . . God changes me." (Bosco Peters www.liturgy.co.nz)

In this "entertaining and enlightening talk," Father Eric Dudley, with St. Peters Anglican Church in Tallahassee, Florida, explains "The Nuts and Bolts of Liturgy."

Interactive Worship--You Are a Vital Part

You are invited to enter into the depth and richness of historic, orthodox Anglican worship.  Our services are rooted in the most ancient practices of Christianity and designed to be experienced, not simply observed.  Everyone is given a printed guide so you can know when and how to be part of the gift of worship we offer to God each week.  For the opportunity to experience the mystery of Jesus Christ we encourage you to attend.

Services are led by Fr. Victor Schreffler, at the 929 11th Street in Marysville, CA.

The worship service service starts at 10 am, with coffee and fellowship after the service. We use the Eucharistic Rite from the Anglican Texts for Common Prayer and we always enjoy music, praise, prayer, in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
